Game Designer/ProgrammerStrategic Simulations Inc. 1979 - 1980I designed and programmed the first commercially succesful strategy game on a floppy disk "Computer Ambush". This was in the days of the Apple II. At that time most programs, including games, were distributed on cassette tapes. We had to put the word "Computer" in the title to make sure people realized that a computer was needed to play the game. Gamers had to go out and buy an external 5" floppy disk drive because they were not even beginning to be standard equipment yet.
