As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, provides strategic direction and leadership to the Intervenor Services department. Makes recommendations on growth models and the sustainability of Intervenor Services. Provides tactical leadership on the day-to-day operations and issues regarding Intervenor Services provided by Sensity Deafblind and Sensory Support Network of Canada, and develops and makes recommendations for policies and procedures related to the department.* Leads, coaches and directs the effective, compliant and efficient delivery of services to individuals supported in both residential and community settings across the Province of Ontario* Directly oversees three Managers of Intervenor Services and indirectly oversees a team of 17 Intervenor Services Coordinators and 250-300 unionized frontline intervenors.*Leadership in a unionized environment, including active participation as a member of the Labour Management team.* Ensures compliance with the Ministry of Children's, Community and Social Services (MCCSS) policy framework for Intervenor Services and other applicable legislation.* Employee relations with regard to modified work planning, return to work planning following leaves or short term disability

Coordinated knowledge discovery in support of key operational projects and strategic outcomes. Facilitated Education, Engagement & Communication amongst the agency's leadership and leading the self-assessment process in the agency's first Accreditation cycle. Worked with leadership team to build initial work plan toward AccreditationLead the change management around transition for frontline staff to use of Inclusion software for scheduling and attendance management.Developed and maintained monthly dashboard tool for leadership team to track progress toward goals within operational plan. Served as a member of the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) Made recommendations for policies and procedures that align with Quality Assurance MeasuresPromotes a comprehensive quality approach to services in alignment with both standards and compliance regulations.

Supervised 4 Intervenor Services Coordinators and a Registered Practical Nurse in 9 programs with a total of more than 60 front line unionized staff. Supported performance management, including disciplinary decisions with respect to both direct and indirect reports. Conducted audits of Intervenor Services programs to evaluate for program quality in both Residential and Community settings. This included both onsite and remote program locations.Monitored and ensured up-to-date person-centered plans were in plan for all individuals supported and regularly evaluated by the services team on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis.Empowered and coached front-line supervisors to develop an inclusive and open communication with both individuals supported and their support networks.Approved processes and protocols required for the effective delivery of Intervenor Services. Identified gaps and made suggestions to the Director of Services with regards to policies and procedures related to Intervenor Services. Back-up management "on-call" duties. One week per month agency wide support for escalated approvals, troubleshooting and crisis management purposes. Submission of Serious Occurrence Reporting in accordance with MCCSS as required.

• Responsible for oversight of day to day operations, business and strategic planning for Scouts Canada owned, leased or otherwise operated properties within the Provinces of Ontario & Quebec. (~80 camp & non-camp facilities)• Managed the implementation of National Property Standards Program. Provided direct peer support for other managers and senior volunteers across Canada. • Developed financial planning cycle to allow for adequate stakeholder engagement and all required levels of approval in accordance with Board timelines. Responsible for tracking and fiscal responsibility against budget for properties managed directly by the nine regional Scout Councils within Ontario & Quebec.• Guided and coached local stakeholders in identification of short-term, mid-range and long-term operational and capital needs in order to develop a comprehensive business plan. • Educated staff and volunteers in understanding legislative requirements and monitored compliance with all relevant statutes.• Managed a staff team of 14, including facility bookings support and remote property maintenance and program management staff. Supervised a team of hiring managers through summer seasonal programming execution, which employed an additional 250+ contracts employees across 6 sites.• Served as a Board Member, Provincial Council for Ontario; Boy Scouts of Canada – Corporation which owns deed/title to all lands owned, leased or operated in the Province of Ontario and manages funds in trust.• Participated in, and presented as required to National Safety Committee, National Property Committee and National Service Team. • Wrote and presented reports to executive staff and volunteers with respect to property transactions including lease renewals, property dispositions, easements, and rights of way.
