- Supporting the maintenance of the bank’s various technologies such as IBM SterlingIntegrator, IBM Sterling FileGateway, IBM Sterling Secure Proxy, IBM Control Centre and IBM Connect Direct suite across multiple operating systems.- Carrying out Middleware FTG BAU tasks such as incidents, changes and requests.- Educating the newest members of our team on our environment, processes and BAU - ensuring that a high standard is always met and outputted to individuals/third parties contacts.- Delivering service improvements, such as silent installations of our applications, configuration updates and the replacement and deployment of SSL certificates.- Identifying and resolving any high priority incidents that arise.- Involved in an on-call rota to support our applications out of hours.- Supporting other teams by providing advice and guidance on areas of technical expertise.- Liaising with other teams internally and externally to ensure incidents are resolved quickly and as efficiently, whilst maintaining a high level of standard.- Working with Major Incident Managers, 3rd party suppliers, IT Architects and ProjectManagers to assist in current projects- Continually developing my File Transfer Gateway knowledge (IBM SterlingIntegrator, Connect Direct, FileGateway, Control Centre, Business Processes, etc)- Adhering to banking guidelines and ensuring that all SLA’s are met.

I started my time here in my fourth year of High School, as part of 'work experience'. During my time, I was full time, and had taken on various challenging and rewarding roles and responsibilities. This enabled me to develop a catalogue of different skills. My time here has also involved working in a small team with different nationalities, as well as being placed in charge of new starts. Overall, my top priority was to remain consumer aware, and promote and deliver a high level of service to our customers.
