Maintain current knowledge of applicable federal and state privacy lawsServe in a leadership role for privacy compliance to ensure the organization has and maintains appropriate privacy processes that reflect current organization and legal practices and requirementsParticipate in the development, implementation, and ongoing compliance monitoring program to ensure all privacy gaps, requirements, and responsibilities are addressedIdentify and create a blueprint for future tools, business process management, and resources that lead to strategies for efficiency and effectivenessManage a portfolio of projects and programs and ensure project goals are achievedBuild a privacy governance program across the first and second lines of defenseDevelop a foundation for the governance of a privacy program and define how the privacy program may be developed, measured and improvedImplement a sustainable privacy program through communication, training and management actionsWork with the operational business leaders to develop a privacy governance strategy including:• Establish the business line privacy leader organizational model, responsibilities, and reporting structure • Identify stakeholders• Prioritize key functions• Develop the lines of defense program framework• Create a process for interfacing within organization• Define privacy metrics for oversight and governance• Implement ongoing compliance monitoring and improvementsExecute a software implementation plan including due diligence and legacy mapping to ensure the software meets all the requirements necessary for software rollout
