In this role, I am responsible for:- Identifying, reviewing, approving, and distributing manufacturing capital funds for all businesses and facilities globally.- Leading the global advanced manufacturing team in support of all manufacturing businesses focusing on automation, additive manufacturing, integrated systems, automated material handling, and etc..- Leading the efforts to define and provide manufacturing support to the Halliburton Labs Clean Energy participants.- Defining and executing critical strategic projects in support of all businesses.- Developing world class technical talent, building an Advanced Innovation Training Lab, and implementing a technical talent training program.

In this role, I define manufacturing strategy for the Completion Tools business with over $2 billion in annual revenue and 5 manufacturing plants in the US, UK, and Asia Pac region. I direct and monitor all activities across functions and global locations to support daily operations and continuous improvement initiatives. I recently delivered an updated 5-year strategy and rollout plan for the Saudi Arabia localization effort (IKTVA) for all business lines and across all functions (Operations, Manufacturing, Technology, Business), which resulted in improved ratings from 7% below commitment to 10% above in just one year while maintaining ROI and achieving the IKTVA Award for “Best in Training and Development”. Final financial approval for a new multi-business unit manufacturing facility located in Saudi Arabia was also granted through my communication skill, persuasive nature and supporting analytics. I provide the accurate and pragmatic strategic analysis needed to help Executives make long-term strategy decisions with quick turnaround evaluations in a high flux global market. And I lead efforts to evaluate the manufacturing footprint, even given COVID and other market conditions. One result was the closure of plant and savings of $35M annually. In the same vein of activity, I directed the MFG closure activities for the biggest NA manufacturing facility which was completed 5 months ahead of schedule with zero lost time incidents and zero operational production disruptions. Overachieving results whether in time, budget, or manpower is my signature style.

This opportunity in Belgium gave me the chance to direct International Manufacturing and Technology ISO 9001/14001 certified R&D and the manufacturing site. I concentrated on implementing lean processes, improving inventory control, and delivering products and projects on-time and under budget for R&D, while sustaining engineering. During this time, I implemented new processes and procedures to reduce design mistakes, resulting in over $500K savings per year, focused on critical items and simplified processes to add value and create agile processes. I became the voice of the customer by reducing average design turnaround times for cutter arms, a critical downhole tool required for major drilling operations, from 60 days to 18 days. I also managed multiple programs across a broad customer base resulting in delivery of 3 new products in 1.5 years, surpassing the total # of products previously delivered from 2009 to 2014. Extremely gratifying was a rescue of a failing multi-million-dollar project which was three years behind schedule- I delivered verification results in 6 months. On the opposite end of activities, I directed local efforts to close a plant in a market downturn. More successes included an uninterrupted delivery of products and technology solutions, higher than forecasted manufacturing deliverables to operations, and excellent team participation in the knowledge transfer phase.

Performing as the Project Manager of Technology, I developed technology inputs to new lifecycle processes, led efforts to obtain API Q1 (ISO 9001/29001) registration, and managed R&D projects from initialization to commercialization. I was the technology point of contact for life cycle process. I led technology efforts to successfully acquire API Q1, ISO 9001/29001 registration for the first time in business unit history and turned around an R&D project with technical and scheduling issues, leading to successful initiation of field trials. I was the champion of technology efforts to develop cross-functional processes and procedures in support of the new lifecycle process.

Future Space Systems Constellation Program Office, (Booz Allen, SAIC) This role is a great example of career versatility. Here, I was responsible for the interface management office and test and verification documents for all phases from ground infrastructure, space vehicles, satellite and ground systems. I gathered inputs and led control system boards to guide the team and ultimately, ensured collaboration to create the right solutions.

Certified as a front room flight controller and astronaut trainer. I was in charge of communications systems supporting vehicle docking and monitoring systems, ensuring astronauts safety. I developed and executed classroom, computer, and simulation training for astronauts and flight controllers.
