At Topdanmark, I was part of a newly established machine learning (ML) department. My work concerned developing a computer vision algorithm for estimating the repair-cost of damaged cars. The overall solution revolved using several deep learning text and image models to determine the final insurance cost of the customer’s damaged car. In relation to this challenge of implementing a system for auto-taxation, I’ve obtained great experience with various ML libraries (Tensorflow, Keras, OpenCV, PyTorch, etc.) and version control systems (Git and AWS). I was mainly responsible for: - Data cleaning, preparation & visualization- Developing, training, and evaluating deep learning image models- Exploring new state-of-the-art machine learning methods to find more optimal solutions
