I have the best “job” in the world: I'm a father of two, an Apple employee, a DEI practitioner, a writer, chef, and photographer.Of all the things I have accomplished over the last +10 years being an engineering project manager of high-end consumer products, I am most proud of having co-founded “Black@Hardware”—an employee resource group at Apple approaching its fourth “birthday” at the time of this writing.Activism is part of who I am. I'm an anti-racist speaker and workshop facilitator, but my focus extends beyond race. I work to diminish the limiting beliefs behind any form of social bigotry—sexism, ableism, or whichever other “ism” you care about most.My anti-racism philosophy isn't focused on right versus wrong, but rather on the power of vulnerability and the importance of not just emotional intelligence but of emotions themselves.
