With over 6 years of experience developing breakthrough technologies, I have a proven track record of creative ideas, thorough analysis, rapid prototyping, persistent testing, and delivered results. I have a wide experience in manufacturing, mechatronics, FEA, 3D printing, agile, and team leadership. My last role was CEO of Zero Barrier Corporation, a company I founded back in 2018 to unleash metal 3D printing as a force that enables transformational innovations. I brought together and directed a team of engineers to develop an incredibly fast and affordable metal 3D printing method. By starting with basic engineering fundamentals, we were able to demonstrate a highly affordable production method using many off the shelf parts, standardized equipment, and several proprietary innovations. And by customizing the binder’s surface chemistry, I dramatically increased the cure rate, achieving print rates of one second per layer. I personally designed and built a majority of the final design, spanning 3 machines and 9 subsystems. We went on to raise $100k+ of investment, acquire beta customers, and graduate from a nationally ranked accelerator program.Coworkers know me as a bold and persistent leader, who sets the example for others. I consistently communicate expectations, results, and changes with all stakeholders as projects evolve. In my projects, I always stress the importance of asking good questions and listening to each stakeholder. I completed a Masters in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from the University of Wisconsin- Madison in May 2022. I received a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from UW-Madison in May 2018.
