Collaborated with the UW Mechatronics team to design the CAD of the robotic arm (The Claw) to be mounted on the Mars Rover. The purpose of The Claw is to grab prototype Mars terrain specimen and clear the path of the vehicle. - Provided motor torque calculations and dynamic motion analyses for Claw.- Performed and presented justifiable calculations for robotic arm dynamics and engine torque for extensible, multi-axial dynamic arm mobility using Kinematics and Dynamics of Multiple Bodies. (MT3)- Teamed up with other committed sub-teams to ensure robotic arm functionality, fabrication feasibility, cost efficiency and aesthetic appeal.
