Oats Day Long is a fast-casual restaurant serving oatmeal bowls, oat milk coffees and oat pastries. On an independent basis, helped Chocofino with their international business development. Specialising in handcrafted filled Belgian chocolates and other types of chocolate confectionery, Chocofino offers its products both through private label and its own Jean de Bruxelles brand.Daily tasks included:- developing and executing export plan focussing on fairs / trade shows- following up on leads and being the point of contact for international customers- active prospecting in focus regions

After 4 months in the traineeship, was promoted to full time Sales Development Representative. Main objectives were driving pipeline and generating opportunities for the Benelux market by following up leads and being the first point of contact with prospects. Completed company training at Salesforce HQ in San Francisco.

As part of Futureforce, the Customer Intelligence Traineeship is a fast-track program for graduates pursuing a sales career in one of the fastest growing IT companies in the world (2015, $5.37 billion turnover, up 32%). Besides learning the ins and outs of Salesforce as an organization, main objectives were assisting the business development teams, focusing on understanding account structures, and identifying key decision makers for business development team campaigns while reaching individual targets.

Developing a strategy for the new company division focussing on Belgian chocolates. Made a ready-to-execute business case that included marketing, operational, and general business aspects.• Researched the Chinese chocolate market by conducting mystery shopping and organizing a chocolate tasting that resulted in a better understanding of the Chinese market.• Negotiated with Chinese packaging firms, which led to samples printed to company standard.• Created a corporate style guideline handbook to support the brand consistency.

Managing Apple shops at different retailers like Media Markt and Fnac by giving demos and advising customers about the Apple products. Was trained at Apple’s headquarters in Brussels. • Increased retailer’s sales by using Apple’s sales methods.• Reached the top level in Apple’s online training tool on the national level.
