As a Microsoft Office user since the late 1980's with a creative mind, I explain (when wearing my trainer hat) software use in a “non-techy” way. I have been involved in the training industry since 1995, training private and corporate clients. During this time, I have trained students from the following companies: the Development Bank of South Africa, the National Treasury, Woolworths, Exxaro, Bytes People Solutions, CTU Training, Department of Defense, ABSA Bank, Vodacom, Sanlam, Eskom, The Public Protector etc. Past students will be able to confirm my interpersonal communicative skills and my ability to motivate my students. From the outset, I quickly realised how much I enjoyed being involved in developing the skills of individuals and teams attending training courses and the positive effect this had on the organisations they were a part of. In my current position I design dashboards in Microsoft Excel. These are used by the CEO and regional managers to run and monitor a multi-million revenue company with branches all over South Africa. This is made possible by using Office 365 with it’s cloud functionality and users being able to access and use files simultaneously.
