I record screencasts teaching intermediate Ruby on Rails developers how to build common features of web applications, refactor and organize their code, stay up-to-date, and learn new libraries like ActionCable, Vue.js and React.

As lead developer, I was responsible for implementing the core features of the One Month course platform. I managed everything from planning out new features, implementing designs, doing support with students, and scaling up our Heroku deployments.

As a co-founder of LaunchCode, we set out to find developers from non-traditional backgrounds apprenticeships with software companies in St. Louis. This has grown into a fantastic non-profit that places hundreds of Junior Developers at companies around the US. I built and implemented the initial website and interview process with prospective developers, hired and trained a Launchcoder, and provided support to the organization.
