Below are some of the roles' duties in detail:• Provided detailed and extensive consultations for government customers within the U.S. House of Representatives, including staff and members of congress. Consultations were performed for many different types of technical computer issues and requests that varied from computer workstation setup, support, preventative maintenance, data recovery, iPhone and mobile device data sync, upkeeping of new hardware compliance to implemented government security policies, installation of security compliant software and operating system updates, and implementing government compliant security procedures for whenever a customer needed to travel outside of the country.• Created accounts for computer workstations, user login accounts, emails, office issued cellular phones, and mobile devices.• Assisted users with a wide range of daily computer issues from connecting to their networks, to setting up and installing their monitors, printers, and other connected peripherals on their computers.• Provided constant support through communication on the phone, email, text for staff using computer applications including, but not limited to, email, Cisco VPN, IQ (Internet Quorum), Zoom, Cisco Webex, Microsoft Office programs and other third party applications.• Collaborated with third party computer manufacturers such as HP, Apple, and Dell to ensure that computers would be repaired if the computer was under warranty and a user found an issue that was covered in the warranty. Used AD to manage user accounts to a degree or general options which included resetting passwords, unlocking accounts, joining computers to the network, confirming if a user was eligible for Office 365 emails, and enabling or disabling computers and user accounts.Re-imaged all Windows-based PC’s through an imaging software system called “LANDesk”. Re-imaged iMacs, Mac Pros, and MacBook Pros through a system called “CASPER”.Worked heavily with users in a major migration of the local email server and assisted them in signing into the newly implemented Office 365 server with their workstations and cell phones.Configured users' iPhones to make sure they would receive NIH emails without any issues.Remotely assisted users who were teleworking at home, a different office, or overseas through a program called “BOMGAR”.
