About Amit Chatterjee

Amit hung up his managerial boots in 2017 to devote his full time as an Life Coach/ Management Mentor for Leader Managers in Knowledge / Manufacturing / Engineering Industries. Amit was the Managing Director of Sartorius group companies in India (a German MNC Subsidiary) since 2002. He joined the group in 1994 and helped build up the company in India from a 20-man–USD 0.5 Mn (INR 3 Cr.) start-up to a 500 man-USD 72 Mn (INR 500 Cr.) status. A postgraduate in Chemistry, Amit earned a Diploma in Practicing Management (IMPM) from INSEAD, France and a Master of Management from McGill, Canada. He is also a published author on practicing management and lectures as a Guest Faculty at IIM, Bangalore & AIT Business School, Bangkok on Leadership & Change Management. Amit lives in Bangalore, India with his wife and considers their son and daughter their biggest investment in life. He believes in success being a mere milestone in the journey towards happiness.
