Examples include serving as the security lead for the White House Homeland Security Counsel Bio-terrorism which drafted HSPD #9 Food and Agriculture; Developing and fielding the CARVER+Shock VA Tool in the Food and Ag industries; Serving as the Senior Security Consultant for the USCG as they implemented the MTSA of 2002; Developing the armed response protocols for the MDA Missile Firing Field in Europe. Most recently Ed was selected to author the Strategic Risk management Plan for USCG Sector Houston Galveston.Ed recently published the book, "CARVER+Shock, Vulnerability Assessments"Ed is a nationally-sought trainer and public speaker on subjects such as conducting vulnerability assessments, school and campus security, threat assessments and federal security programs.
