In 2002, after many years of working in several roles for international employers, I started exploring the depths and widths of a new Expertise emerging from the rapidly increasing complexity of deploying staff across country borders. In 2003, I founded Expatise and registered this name as a brand for what became my ultimate goal: achieving worldwide recognition of the complexity and importance of the HR Global Mobility Function. The vessel that would become the carrier of my ambition was founded in 2010 in collaboration with international employers: The Expatise Foundation, an independent and non-profit expertise centre on Global Workforce Deployment. What drives Expatise®?It is our ambition to achieve global recognition of the complexity of cross-border Workforce Deployment and the importance of the HR Global Mobility function in this respect for the overall success of the organization. How do we reach this aim?To reach this aim, we strive to grow the expertise of all stakeholders within the Global Mobility domain, contribute to enhancing their performance and visibility and create their involvement and engagement. What do we offer? The Expatise Linkedin Learning Platform enables the Foundation not only to share knowledge with participants but also to learn from its participants what they are struggling with and collect information on how to help them overcome their challenges in this difficult field of work. This information will be analyzed and processed into education provided by the Expatise Academy. The Expatise Academy's innovative approach to education resulted in learning solutions that place the individual learner at the centre by providing competency-based, courses to follow in their own time, at their own pace and in all stages of their development. This individualized approach increases learning and grows expertise in understanding and supporting the business objectives of the organization, and enables our participants to be the reliable operational and credible strategic partner the business needs in order to realise its objectives.
