Information about trouble tickets was derived from Oracle DB and then was grouped by attributes to reflect specific metrics like the customer, date, status, etc. Metrics are vary depending on the project.• Designed and developed a test automation framework to manage tasks on UNIX. That allowed to integrate front‐end and back‐end based steps into one test case under TestNG and Selenium. • Implemented automated Oracle based test metrics update system after test cases completion• Developed Web-based GUI user interface for the legacy application. The users were provided with a convenient applet included a set of hints, options, and context‐based references.• Implemented a new security module to access GUI components based on users’ roles and permissions. The JSP, Servlets, and dojo technologies were used.• Developed the web‐based notification system interface with broadcast messaging functionality.• Improved the Web GUI interface with AJAX technology to communicate with the legacy code for time‐consuming tasks.• Developed Java based “one‐click” installation utility for web GUI interface.
