IT management ensures that all technology resources and associated employees are utilized properly and in a manner that provides value for the organization. Effective IT management enables an organization to optimize resources and staffing, improve business processes and communication and enforce best practices.

The success of any project depends on the people who work on it. Therefore, supervising team members is central to the project manager’s role. He must orient and train the team he has assembled and act as a coach and counselor. Besides making assignments and assign responsibilities, he must coordinate team efforts and step in to resolve conflicts. As a project draws to a close, the Manager can seek feedback to use in follow-up discussions with other company manager.
