The Carolinas Energy Trade Network was established to increase the value and success of E4 Carolinas members by informing them on trade opportunities, expand opportunities for the export of Carolinas energy products and services, promoting the Carolinas energy economy internationally and help attract foreign direct investment into Carolina energy companies, projects and/or company relocation to the Carolinas.

Stepped into GridBox, which was a SaaS company, to provide their consumer engagement platform with digital assets and a retail client base to generate revenue that positioned the company for growth or acquired. By the end of 2014, I successfully directed and guided GridBox to be acquired by Ivey Marketing a leading brand and retail marketing agency working with such clients as Nike, The North Face, Dr. Martens, Icebreaker, Panera Bread and Levi's.

As the initial investor in Mirrus, Ryan stepped in to the company in 2010 to strategically pivot the company to position itself as a brand communications company and away from the advertising revenue platform. With his real estate background he saw the opportunity to take the legacy Mirrus technology into the stores with the Brands to be a valuable real estate opportunity. He personally oversaw the product development of Mirrus from one single product to a line of consistent products that strategically allowed brands to create a more personalized experience. While overseeing the development of the hardware product he worked diligently with and communicated daily to the software engineers to make sure the software would align with the personal experience that the new products would create. He strategically established an alliance with one of the leading glass manufacturers in the world and worked directly with them to develop a mirror glass product that Brands and their consumers would demand. By stepping into Mirrus when he did he provided Mirrus the opportunity to work with and make clients out of some of the largest brands and sporting events in the world, such as, Macy's, NFL, MLB, NBA, New Era, Swarovski, Neiman Marcus, Dillard's and Paul Mitchell. While providing the leadership mentioned, Ryan led the entire international efforts where he was able to work with clients, strategic partners and brands in Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.

During his tenure at AIE, Ryan oversaw the acquisition process and led the firm's property management and leasing activities to achieve the best market results for the co-owners of each property. While at AIE, Ryan was an essential element that took AIE from a one property investment firm to over $500 Million in real estate assets managed firm. He helped achieve this by establishing strategic partnerships with market leading Financial Institutions and Life Insurance Companies that allowed for diverse loan packages which would provide for healthy ROI even during down real estate market times.
