In May of 1981, while still in high school, Mr. Blanco was offered a part-time dispatching position with a local towing company, Lakeside Towing, working his way through the ranks from dispatcher to driver and eventually manager. While under his leadership Lakeside Towing became one of the pioneers with regards to Private Party Impounds. In June of 1996, after much deliberation and a lot of prayer, he decided to leave Lakeside Towing in order to pursue his own dream of starting and owning his own towing company, so on July 1, 1996 he officially opened West Coast Towing, and while under his ownership Mr. Blanco went from 1 to 32 trucks with 4 locations throughout Orange, Riverside and San Diego Counties. West Coast Towing through Mr. Blanco’s involvement would secure local police contracts through Santa Ana and Capistrano division of the California Highway Patrol, UCI Police Department, Irvine Police department, Orange County Sheriff’s Department as well as 3 beats of the Freeway Service Patrol.Becoming a well respected company with a reputation for providing good, honest, and reliable service is what set the foundation for success within his business model. Without saying that is why he became a provider of choice.In 2004 against his better judgment he decided to sell West Coast Towing so that he could pursue outside business opportunities. When he sold West Coast Towing, they were operating 4 yards, 65 employees and 32 trucks that reflected 4 million annually in gross sales. Mr. Blanco as president of Extreme Towing Services Inc. is responsible for new business acquisitions, development, company expansion and future growth; His tireless efforts are reflected by his current company success.
