Being a Co-Founder and CTO at Pixomi.ai, a fintech startup providing smart cashflow management solutions for SMEs, I was involved in everything related with product and technology

On this role I served as the CTO of Openpay, a Melbourne based Fintech Scaleup providing an innovative digital online and in-store payment solution enabling customers to purchase now and pay later with no interest. Reporting to the CEO, I owned Openpay’s products and technology, managing a fast-growing large engineering group. Aside from working at Openpay, as a CTO at World Horizons Israel, I was assisting with technology and product consulting for businesses under the Meydan Group portfolio such as Ocean, Genesis, Roadz and other prospect investments opportunities.Some key achievements include: (1) Building roadmaps and strategic planning for Openpay’s technology, products, people and processes, shifting from Waterfall to Lean Agile, leading a meteoric business growth of 1500% in volume, 400% in personnel and 1000% in valuation (raising 90M in private equity and an IPO). (2) Launching a new operation in the UK market, reaching 33% of AU volume in less than 6 months. (3) Team restructuring for scaling and multi region support. Opening a new offshore R&D Center and recruiting a large team of engineers in under a year. (4) Infrastructure Migration to AWS cloud platform, key Architecture and Infrastructure changes – From Hosted Monolith to Micro Services on Serverless using AWS Managed Services (5) Uplifting all products – new UI/UX, modernizing stacks to .Net Core, Node.js, GraphQL, React and Mobile Native. Creating a Data Lake, Reporting and Data science solutions. (6) SLDC Improvements: Introducing Azure DevOps including GIT Repos, Boards, MTM, CI/CD Pipelines, IaC for AWS Infra provisioning, Centralized logging/monitoring/alerting using AWS CloudWatch and MS Teams and much more.

I had end to end responsibility over all products and technological aspects of the business, providing technology and services for financial brokers. Key activities included (1) Creating roadmap and strategy, successfully leading the design and development an enterprise SAAS solution for financial brokers built on top of a services architecture. (2) I Recruited most of the R&D, opening an offshore operation, introducing agile methodologies while supporting a company growth of 400%.

Working at the Israeli R&D center of an Asian top 5 (and one of the world’s largest) online gaming operator. Reporting to the VP of R&D, I was leading the Payments group responsible for major core services (Payments, Banking) and Integrations to Payment and Gaming vendors in PlayWise's SAAS platform, working closely with business stakeholders and management in a multi-site corporate spread over Asia, Europe and the Middle East. Some of the key activities included (1) Building the group: recruiting in Israel and offshore, establishing structure, working methodologies (Scrum) and culture while keeping hands-on both personally and professionally. (2) Developing and maintaining large scale high availability systems with millions of daily fund transactions and corresponding BOs/Reporting used by thousands of company reps; providing 24X7 on call support services for the operation.

Reporting to the Head of R&D, I was leading a Scrum team responsible over IWay - PageFlex’s industry leading print management software. Shifting from Waterfall to Agile, we enhanced PageFlex’s offering, creating SAAS solution for small print houses, developing a Responsive light version for Mobile, conducting new tech POCs and more. The Team supported multiple installed versions as well as branding and delivery processes for major OEM partners (Xerox, HP).

Leading a small team, reporting to R&D director, assuming responsibility for several major modules (Scheduling, procurement, fulfillment…) in Omnium custom ERP solution, adding new functionality and rewriting legacy code in .NET.

Senior dev in a team working on Omnium, a massive web-based ERP solution for automating business flows in medium to large print houses. Developing and maintaining on top of an in house MVC and ORM infrastructure. Providing implementation to deployment and onsite support services for clients in Europe and the US.

I was the 1st developer to join this seed stage startup developing enterprise software for call centers: self-learning of the domain and required tech, helped recruiting other members and together we designed and implemented a custom rich client MVC framework with reusable AJAX components, increasing development speed and efficiency multiple times and reducing critical bugs to nearly zero.
