WBS provides value-add through taking a consultative approach to network design and truly thinking outside of the box. WBS focuses primarily on wholesale and enterprise IP transit and transport opportunities, colocation, VoIP origination and termination, SIP trunking, content delivery, and managed services.Responsibilities:Engineering team member, assisting in the design and implementation of network infrastructure.Proficient in diagnosing and solving various technical network related issues.Provided tier 2 and 3 level support to customers in a 24/7 environment. Reported issues include traceroute analysis, packet loss, route path preferences, and bandwidth throughput.Responsible for monitoring the IP network, responding to outages, and working closely with other Network Operations Centers and telecommunications providers to debug and diagnose network and circuit problems.Implemented various customer requests including DNS, BGP, ACL, null routes and new IP allocation. Monitored system IOS upgrades and hardware maintenances of core network devices by the engineering group as well as other vendors to ensure prompt accomplishment.
