I am a passionate and driven developer of The Accessible Ukulele, a device that enables individuals with disabilities to play a musical instrument with ease and joy. I have been working on this project since June 2020, and have received two grants from Yale University to continue developing and distributing it to various centers for people with special needs.I am also a project leader for Yale Enable, a student organization that designs and builds prosthetic devices for people with physical impairments. I lead a team of seven Yale students who are developing a prosthetic attachment that allows individuals with muscle degenerative diseases to eat autonomously. This project requires me to apply my skills in 3D design, microcontroller coding, RF communications, circuitry soldering, and more.In addition, I am the head of curriculum for a coding program that teaches over 100 middle school students across eight New Haven schools. I create and oversee the curriculum, mentor the students, and organize a project fair at the end of each semester. I enjoy this role because it allows me to share my love of computer science and inspire the next generation of coders and innovators.I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Engineering degree at Yale University, with a major in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. I expect to graduate in May 2026, and I aspire to use my engineering skills to make the world more accessible and inclusive for everyone.
