As a Medicare Support Specialist at The Health Plan (THP), I provide efficient and accurate assistance to Medicare members and providers, using my logical reasoning and active listening skills. I also collaborate with other departments to resolve complex issues and ensure compliance with Medicare regulations and policies.I have a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Counselor Education/School Counseling and Guidance Services from California University of Pennsylvania, where I learned how to apply psychological theories and techniques to help students achieve their academic and personal goals. I completed a 10-month internship as a School Counselor at Marshall County School District, where I supported students with academic, career, and social-emotional counseling, and facilitated group sessions and workshops on topics such as stress management, conflict resolution, and college readiness.My passion is to help people live better lives and improve the quality of my community. I have strong interpersonal skills and a professional attitude, which I developed through my academic, musical, and work experiences. I am always eager to learn new things and take on new challenges, as I believe that growth and improvement are essential for personal and professional success.
