I have extensive experience developing parts for the cockpit area, sidewall covers and exterior mirrors, through the entire development cycle, from technical specification booklet to release.Jan 2023 – Present: R&D Engineer Interior - ZEV Line Operation I am part of the agile team for interior parts of new Zero Emission Class 1&2 vehicles.• Performing weight and cost optimization studies and concepts related to cockpit parts.• Creating new ideas, concepts and packaging of the new ZEV City bus.Jan 2018 – Dec 2022: R&D Engineer Cockpit & Interior Trim: I was responsible for exterior mirrors and supporting cockpit projects of all Mercedes & Setra buses.• Supported development of cockpit parts of the new Intouro and Setra LE.• Implemented new exterior mirrors for USA Tourrider coach.• Involved in the Mirrorcam project as responsible for camera covers.• Specialized in UN/ECE-R46 and FMVSS-111 indirect vision homologation.Jan 2015 – Dec 2017: R&D Engineer Interior Trim:I was responsible for sidewall covers of all Mercedes & Setra buses.• Developed and released sidewall panels, pillars and stair covers for the new Setra double-decker bus.• Involved in continuous cost optimization projects.Nov 2008 – Dec 2014: Development Engineer Cockpit & Interior Trim: I was responsible for cockpit parts of local produced Mercedes buses.• Defined technical specifications and packaging for the new Travego cockpit, created sections and assembly concept, discussed issues with the design team and led 3D modelling of the parts with the supplier.• Defined technical specifications and packaging for the new Conecto cockpit, discussed concept with the design team, created and released 3D models and drawings.• Created the new seat surfaces for 2+1 seating together with design team.• Fixed the production issues and customer complaints of the cockpit parts.

I was co-founder and Project Manager of the manufacturing company, which designs and manufactures welding and control fixtures, sheet metal and plastic injection molds, special purpose manual, hydraulic, pneumatic and PLC controlled machines, test stands and various prototype and special parts for automotive and defence industries.• Led the product development team to create concept design, 3D models, technical drawings, material list and manufacturing plans in various projects in accordance with customer specifications.• Conducted internal audits and checked quality records to ensure ISO 9001 Quality Certification.

I was the co-founder and Design Team leader of an engineering firm, focused on engineering project support, 3D modelling, reverse engineering and CATIA V5 training services. • Created Class-A surfaces and develop complete cockpit in TEMSA Powerbus project.• Created Class-A surfaces of the complete body shell of TEMSA Diamond bus. Created and developed complete cockpit in the same project, from design sketches to supplier just in 5 weeks.• Developed three different options of the driver partition panel for FIAT Fiorino project.• Modelled various complex parts from scanned data by reverse engineering for the after-market.

I worked as CATIA V5 Specialist, responsible for CATIA V5 training, demonstration, technical and project support at the PLM company, which is business partner of Dassault Systemes in Turkey, focused on the automotive industry. • Became one of the first CATIA V5 users and trainers in Turkey by being expert in Part Design, Generative Shape Design, Sheet metal Design, Class-A modelling and DMU.• Demonstrated CATIA V5 to potential clients at various special events and fairs, which resulted a great increase in its market share.• Trained and supported CATIA V5 modules to more than 40 companies including big OEMs: Mercedes-Benz Turk, Renault, Isuzu and Temsa. Created training materials in Turkish.• Received CATIA V5 Generative Shape Design, Freestyle, Core & Cavity and Mold Tooling Design trainings directly from Dassault Systemes.
