• Cash Release: Reduced packaging material inventory at site by 10% through effective planning, synchronizing with production plan and monitoring, increased credit period with vendors by 35%, implemented vendor managed inventory (VMI) for lotions bottles and caps. • Vendor base optimization: Reduced 25% packaging material vendors in 1 year through consolidation using vendor performance score. Relocated 40% laminated tube volume 30% rigid plastic volume allocating higher business share to the vendors having plant close to the factory and busting up their capacity.• ERP migration: Implemented migration from legacy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software to new ERP software, SAP in Bangladesh (MM-module) as a key project member.• Improvement: Implemented vendor score card to measure vendor performance and used the score as the basis for business allocation. Improved (OEE) by 7% at one of the key laminated tube vendor’s end and one bottle manufacturer’s end.• Localization: Developed local capability for manufacturing of Sunsilk cap and tooth brush which used to be imported previously with a very high duty.• Growth: Business was experiencing unprecedented growth of 200% in Tooth Powder category. Could gear up packaging material vendor’s capacity increasing OEE, installing new machines, molds and deploying new technology within very short time. • Site development: Led the project of local manufacturing of Pepsodent Tooth Brush through on boarding a completely new 3P site. Liaised with all the relevant team (local & above country). Task includes vendor selection, technology selection, molds, raw and packaging material sourcing.• Managing peaks: Seasonal products are produced in a 2 months window and volumes are very high. Streamlined supply of packaging material for the seasonal product (talc and lotion) optimizing vendor base and capacity.• Run-down plan: Through effective planning rolled out major re-launches with minimal packaging waste / write off.
