Boama Ezéchiel Prosper NOALI is a pharmacist committed to ensuring access to quality medicines for all, and who has made the fight against antimicrobial resistance his hobbyhorse. A pharmacist specializing in regulatory affairs, he is in charge of regulatory affairs at PROPHARM (a pharmaceutical industry) in Burkina Faso. He also works with the NGO Yolsé Santé Publique Innovation (https://yolse.org/) in the implementation of actions to facilitate access to essential medicines in Africa by intervening on regulatory aspects and advocacy through civic mobilization of young people. With the firm Pwc Côte d'Ivoire (2018-2022) he participated in the monitoring and evaluation of programs financed by the Global Fund and GAVI in Burkina Faso. He followed with the firm PwC Côte d'Ivoire the realization of the COVID-19 campaign (2021-2022) in Burkina Faso by intervening in the cold chain and pharmacovigilance aspects. In fact, he has worked with The USAID Global Health Supply Chain (GHSC) - Technical Assistance (TA) Francophone Task Order (FTO) as a supervisor to monitor the logistics management of health facilities in the central region of Burkina Faso and to set up the IMAT (Inventory Management Assessment Tool) for these facilities. He is also a consultant for several organizations on drug regulatory affairs and the fight against antimicrobial resistance.Ézéchiel is very committed in the fight against AMR. It is in this dynamic that he defended his PharmD thesis with very good and honorable mention (score 84/100) on: "Evaluation of the national surveillance system in the laboratory for antimicrobial resistance in Burkina Faso" based on the GLASS guidelines of WHO and CDC guidelines specific to medical biology laboratories. At the level of civil society, in close collaboration with other young people, he set up Youth Actions Against AMR (AJRAM) of which he is the executive director. With AJRAM, several actions have been implemented, notably the AMR Youth Leadership Program (PLJRAM), mobilizing 200 young people from 15 African countries every year. Dr NOALI is an ambassador for one health lessons (USA) and for SAS Africa's "The AMR Ambassadors Program for Young People in Africa". He has been identified as an AMR Champion by ReAct Africa and is a member of the international quatripartite committee (WHO, FAO, UNEP, OIE) on youth engagement in the fight against AMR. In the pharmaceutical sector, he participated in the organization of Pharma Expo BF 2022 edition in the media communication section.
