My research interests lie in computational imaging, computer vision, and deep learning, with a particular focus on inverse problems. Over the years, I have tackled inverse imaging problems through a range of approaches, spanning from compressed sensing to generative models. Recently, I have been working on dynamic imaging, focusing on spatiotemporal tomography at the Computational Imaging Group at Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica. In addition to my research background, I have extensive teaching experience. Before my current role, I lectured in Computer Vision and Image Processing, as well as two foundational undergraduate computer science courses: Discrete Structures and Data Structures & Algorithms.

* Research as PhD research scholar on the project entitled "Developing image processing applications based upon directional total variation model" funded by The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK). * Purpose of the project was to design image recovery models based on directional total variation (DTV). We developed procedures to estimate underlying directions from the observed image, to be later encoded by the DTV term. We solved various recovery problems (e.g., denoising, deblurring, inpainting) within a variational framework.
