Impact Hub (IH) Ankara is a social enterprise and one of the members of the global Impact Hub Network, which is a community of impact-driven entrepreneurs, intrapreneurs, innovators and creators actively working for a better world in more than 100 hubs and 60 countries around the world.

Community Volunteers Foundation’s aim is to empower youth in Turkey. TOG educates and trains young people about social responsibility, project management, team skills, and fundraising and also creates opportunities for them to create and implement social responsibility projects in their locals. As a result, they make positive changes in the lives of others.• Developed fundraising plans, managed a team of 8 people (may be more seasonally) to implement the plan and monthly reported to the General Manager• Was responsible for Corporate Fundraising, Individual Fundraising, Communications and Reputation Management of the Foundation• Created new ways to approach to companies for donations and collaboration opportunities and created new fundraising campaigns for individuals• Designed a new fundraising program to create a regular donor base and to increase the percentage of individual donations in the budget for financial sustainability• Managed charity run campaigns by coordinating the relations and communications with corporates and individuals.

Basic Needs Association is a nonprofit, nongovernmental organization which fights against poverty by providing people who live under poverty line with their basic needs through foodbanks opened and administrated by the organization and then creating employment opportunities for them to break the helping cycle.• Developed strategic plans and fundraising plans to achieve the mission of the organization, yearly reported to the Board• Oversaw organization's whole operation and managed a team of 15 people to implement the programs efficiently and effectively• Managed the budget of the organization – nearly $400,000 – and created monthly, semiannually and yearly budget reports for the Board• Raised as twice donations as raised in the previous year in the yearly charity run• Opened a new branch, recruited new and created the program to be implemented in the new branch• Facilitated the development of the organization’s culture and its capacity to learn and grow from the environment in which it operates and its own experiences

The organization's goal is to empower local communities while fostering conversations that shift perspectives and increase understanding. Its programs foster cross-cultural relationships that are mutually beneficial and have lasting social impact.• Systematized financial management processes and created accounting procedures• Developed a strategic plan and a fundraising plan for the organization's vertical growth in Bucerias, Mexico• Started to develop a fundraising strategy

The Hüsnü M. Özyeğin Foundation was founded in 1990 by Hüsnü M. Özyeğin to contribute to social and economic development in Turkey. In recent years the Foundation increased its interest in development challenges and poverty issues and launched a comprehensive rural development program in Turkey.• Managed scholarship programs, youth projects and volunteer programs budgeted about $300,000• Prepared and presented semiannually and annually financial and impact reports to the Board of Directors• Consulted 25 women as they found a social business in rural villages in terms of finance, administration, work-flows, and technology use• Created a multi-dimensional Young Women Empowerment Program to be implemented in 26 High School Girls’ Dormitories accommodating about 3,200 high school students in the most rural areas of Turkey• Designed voluntary programs for company volunteers including 150 employees

The Sustainability Initiatives Advisory and Coordination Unit Model was initiated in September 2014 as a research model. OZU students with volunteer advisory of university faculty and administrators carry out the relevant research.• Defined KPIs to measure social impact of Ozyegin University • Analyzed and reported social impacts of Ozyegin University in the context of sustainability

YGA is a non-governmental organization established in 2000 with a vision to cultivate “socially-conscious leaders” through field experience. YGA and Harvard Business School signed a “Global Partnership” Agreement for the FIELD Project.• Administered a 2-year fundraising plan and recruited and managed 15 volunteers to carry out the plan• Prepared and presented monthly progress reports to the Board of Directors• Increase the contributions percentage in revenues from 11% to 15% in one year• Decreased donor retention by 17%• Managed 5 campaigns which raised about $13.000 in one year

DAYKO is a local nonprofit organization operated in Northwest of Turkey. Is aim is sustainable use and management of natural resources and protecting the ecosystems in natural life.• Coordinated the Project “Food As a Mutual Cultural Heritage in Thrace Region”. Municipality of Tsarevo, Bulgaria and Municipality of Vize, Kirklareli were the partner organizations• Prepared two environmental projects for EU Partnership Program and for grant program of Thrace Region Development Agency. They were accepted and are currently conducted

Iz Child Development Center, a social business venture established in 2012, provides early education service. It offers high quality education service at accessible prices for families with child between 2-5 years old.• Prepared and presented monthly financial reports to the Board of Directors• Increased the efficiency in communication between schools and HQ by designing an online file sharing platform • Designed a track system for potential customers and turned about 10% of potential customers into customers

Cemre was designed as a not-for-profit rural tourism company that transfers tourism potential in rural areas of Turkey to an alternative tourism opportunity for tourists interested in nature, history, culture and willing to contribute to the society with the aim of creating a new income opportunity especially for women in rural areas.• Provided financial trainings to local social entrepreneurs including defining costs, pricing, and break-even analysis• Selected by and participated in Social Change Lab, an intense social entrepreneurship training program• Prepared the business plan, developed partnerships and networking• Found the necessary investment as well as mentoring from the biggest e-commerce company whose working area is rural development in Turkey

This was the only course given in this field at the undergraduate level in Turkey.• As the youngest instructor in the university, designed the course content and organized field studies in rural areas of Turkey cooperated with rural development department of Hüsnü M. Özyeğin Foundation directing 20 university students to come up with rural development projects using technology
