-Mentored and managed two Microsoft Student Partners (MSPs) from Princeton University, and two MSPs from Carnegie Mellon University-Provided feedback on and helped deploy promotional materials for the US Imagine Cup competition-Ran bi-weekly workshops at the University of Pittsburgh on various topics including hardware, IoT, machine learning, web development, and design thinking.-Gave a presentation on IoT to teach fundamentals and provide advice on running similar events to 50 MSPs representing countries around the world during Microsoft Build 2018-Led a team of Senior Microsoft Student Partners (SSPs) to develop and reorganize internal content, requirements, and documentation for a more streamlined MSP on-boarding experience.-Collaborated with an international team of MSPs to develop and implement strategies for promoting Imagine Cup World Finals-Helped generate over 100M impressions on Twitter and Instagram, and over 1M Facebook video streams, and inspired over 600 pieces of independent news stories

I founded and fostered a student tech community at the University of Pittsburgh through social media and monthly hour-long workshops (~30 attendees). I developed and taught content on microcontrollers, electronics, Internet of Things (IoT), and basic web development for engineering students outside of computer science.

I was a teaching assistant for ENGR 0716, the Art of Making. This is a new class in the engineering school that promotes innovation and design thinking through a variety of different topics and technologies including Arduino, LittleBits, user discovery, and low resolution prototyping.My primary responsibilities were to assist with electronics and software-related student learning, and to provide design feedback at all stages of project development. My areas of expertise included microcontrollers, programming, electronics and system design. During the spring, I mentored ~60 freshmen engineering students, and during the fall, I worked with ~30 upperclassmen engineering students, making myself virtually available 24/7 using Piazza as an in-class forum.

I developed software and designed a system to support Fourier Ptychographic imaging for future applications in studies of the human eye. This resulted in high resolution, high speed, and low cost imaging of fixed tissue samples through automated image acquisition and image reconstruction algorithms.My work was co-funded for the summer of 2017 through the Swanson School of Engineering and the Ocular Biomechanics lab as a summer research fellow.This project was accepted for poster presentation at the annual 2017 Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) conference.

In the Isenberg Lab, I investigated interrogating factors that delay and enhance airway epithelial cell attachment to and survival on natural and synthetic matrix

I analyzed the effects of ADP and AP4A on platelet activation and sensitization in vitro in the Bluestein lab at the Department of Biomedical Engineering.This project was awarded 3rd place at the 2013 Long Island Science and Engineering Fair (LISEF) in addition to being accepted for poster presentation at the annual 2014 Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) conference.
