With regards to Logistics we are involved in working with clients which include mines, commodity owners and manufacturers that require logistics services to move products for themselves or their clients. We have a lot of experience in the logistics industry both in SA and within the SACD region.In the commodity space we work with imports and exports of commodities such as chrome, copper, lithium, iron ore and coal. Whilst we are not big players in these commodities we are building relationships that will assist us grow our business in the near future.

I worked for two years as a finance and compliance manager. I was responsible for managing cost, compliance, processes and procedures for the import/export of minerals such as copper, lithium and chrome from SADC countries and to greater China. Scope included negotiations, contracts, commitments and finance acquisition. It also included managing finances and ensuring efficient and effective contracts and logistics of minerals. Job finished when the company relocated to the United States of America.

I worked for myself on both commodity projects such as chrome screening, washing and transportation. We also managed logistics on behalf of clients and assisted with cross border consulting. We were involved from the ore processing process to delivery to warehouses. I did this with fellow partners but Capital proved to be a challenge. Projects were lost due to Covid 19.

Managing and analysing the financial performance of centers in the Limpopo and Mpumalanga regions of SBV as per the below responsibilities:I managed, monitored and controlled the financial performance of 7 SBV Mpumalanga cash centers. I also planned and managed the budget process, preparation of business cases for center upgrades, new foot print expansion and drawing up business plans to improve center profitability.I was in charge of tracking and managing projects, developing a 3 year forecasting model that was aligned to the strategic development of the company and procurement policies which were aligned with the national procurement officer. I had to ensure income/expenses were valid as per the SLA and center needs and that centers would pass internal audits with sound financial controls. I was also in charge of managing CAPEX together with the center managers for each branch.

I was in charge of running the cash intransit department in the part of Mpumalanga. Managed 84 employees including policies and procedures, servicing the Big 4 Banks and retail clients, managed department resources including CAPEX and vehicle fleet. Accountable for managing the budget, Risk and service delivery related to cash intransit for most of the Mpumalanga region on behalf of SBV services. This also compromised managing human resiurces, breakdowns and safety and security of funds that were transported on the cash vans.

Posting jounals, managing the cash book , doing month ends , vat and other reconciliations. Managing creditors allocations, GL and income statement queries and aligning budgeted expenses.
