Over the past 13 years, I've spent all of my professional time in agency recruitment, from hands on recruiting across multiple sectors, leading a 50 person agency as a COO, right through to running my own retained search agency - Spencer Lane. In 2020, I channeled all of this experience into starting Hume Scope - a training business focussed on developing exceptional recruiters through practical hands on training & development. To date, we've trained in excess of 2000 recruitment professionals & agency owners. It is my absolute happy place and I genuinely love what I do! Aside from Hume Scope, I also Co-Founded KBFC, which in a nutshell, is a strategic Management Consulting firm for Recruitment Agencies. We provide end to end consulting across agencies core areas: Finance | People | Operations | Sales & Marketing. A bit about me personally - born and bred in Birmingham, UK (don't worry, the accent's not too thick!), I have 2 gorgeous dogs (Spencer & Ghengis) and I am all about learning and self-discovery. I'm constantly looking at ways to improve both professionally & personally. Where I find my absolute joy is flying! I got my recreational pilot's license a couple of years ago and the dream would be to fly around Australia/APAC in a piper warrior.
