My role as director of marketing for the UIUC MSA entails ensuring effective communication to all 500+ members of our org through email lists, social media, text channels, and many other forms of announcement. Within the role, I utilize my experience with the Adobe suite to provide graphics, print material, and merchandise for the organization, along with leading a team of 5 other students who complete projects and marketing material under my direction. This role also involves extensive social media outreach methods through Instagram. On this platform, we have grown by over 1000 new weekly followers through organic means and no paid ads, with our videos regularly reaching over 100k views.

This role has allowed me to further develop my skills in the Adobe editing suite, and in working with professional video, photo, and audio equipment. I photograph 3+ events weekly campus-wide and arrange for specific photo/video shoots meant for university marketing purposes (interviews, headshots, etc.). I collaborate closely with a team of 6 diverse media professionals to deliver exceptional content for official UIUC marketing and media outlets.My work is showcased in official University marketing material, as well as general social media content.
