Hi there! I'm Ezra, an NYC based ritual designer and artist dedicated to cultivating more conscious companies and connected communities.I took everything I’ve learned from over a decade designing transformative experiences - on the stage, at the office, in the street, and from the pulpit - and founded Ritualist, the first ever creative studio specializing in the design of rituals.As the former Artistic Director for Lab/Shul, I’ve helped produce and host events featuring Esther Perel, Priya Parker, Jill Soloway, Darren Aronofsky, Steve Bodow, Adam Kantor, and Ben Sinclair, among many others. I’ve collaborated with organizations like The Joy List, House of Yes, Reimagine Festival, The NYC Mayor’s Office, Jewish Emergent Network, Reboot, New York Zen Center for Contemplative Care, and Judson Memorial Church. My large-scale participatory performance art rituals have been performed at Hammerstein Ballroom, Grand Prospect Hall, Tribeca Performing Arts Center, and the New York Academy of Medicine. I earned my B.F.A in Theater Studies at Southern Methodist University under the guidance of Stan Wojewodski, where I was awarded the prestigious Meadows Scholar Award. I used the award’s grant to live with Shamans and indigenous communities in Ecuador, Colombia, and Venezuela, researching tools for training artists to create more spiritually resonant work.I'm also the youngest member on the Board of Directors of The Secret City, an Obie Award-winning arts organization in New York, Woodstock, and L.A.
