I created a series of illustrations that visualized the GaiaZOO's research conducted in 2019-2020 between Western Lowland Gorillas and Black crested Mangabeys. In this zoo, these two species of primates are housed together in one enclosure. This is a clinical setting: the two species are brought in contact with each other, but would never meet in the wild. The illustrations visualized their research on the inter- and intraspecies communication in this hyper-specific setting.
