Graduate of the BYU Marriott School of Business. Studied Entrepreneurial Management. Former student athlete at the University of Missouri.I honestly think the most fulfilling way to live life in service to others. Studying entrepreneurship at BYU has helped me develop a service oriented approach to both life and business. A successful entrepreneur once said that entrepreneurship done wrong feels like sales, but entrepreneurship done right feels like service.

Product Management InternFilm Squad Jun 2022 - Mar 2023- Gather insight from target market through customer interviews and high quality surveys- Analyze target market responses for informed decision making- Outreach to potential beta users for early testing- MVP development (Webdev, video production, beta tests, etc.)- Rapid prototyping using lean methods- Creative writing skills (published author and journalist), as well as a very customer centric approach to validated learning and iteration We're concluded the validation and discovery stages. We learned a ton from the target market, and discovered that former elite athletes liked the idea more than the customers (the parents of the youth athletes). There was not enough interest from the parent, the end user, to merit moving forward. Parents brought up valid concerns. A few of which were:1) Great college athletes don't always translate into great youth coaches.2) It may be a less hands-on experience, due to the 100% remote nature.3) It would be wise to learn from the college coaches, as opposed to simply the younger, potentially less experienced college athletes.4) Some parents have enough money and connections to receive high level training from former professionals and elite athletes in person, and this would have to be geared towards those will less money and/or connections.Other things were evident as well. The pricing to have the top athletes coaching your children would be so high that only the elite or wealthy could afford it, and the pricing for the more affordable athletes means losing the "coolness" factor of learning online directly from the top athletes in the game. All in all, there was simply not enough parent buy in and interest given to the product and prototype to merit further development of the business. We dropped the idea, and have moved on. -

Full-Time MissionaryThe Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints Sep 2014 - Aug 2016Salt Lake City, Ut, UsI spent 2 years on a mission trip for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It was by far the most life changing experience I've ever undertaken. From 3+ hours a day of studying the Scriptures and how to become a better teacher, to hours of community service at Food Banks, Homeless Shelters, ect.. It has influenced me in ways words can't describe. I learned a lot about trials and hard times, and how they will come to each of us as a natural part of life, and how faith can help us overcome these times. I also have years of experience in teaching others and helping them overcome bad habits, such as drug addiction. I've served in Ecclesiastical Callings during and after this trio, and spent time administering to and managing others, while performing both Ministrative and Administrative tasks. Giving training and presentations to large groups of people, in which the instruction given was aimed to motivate, uplift and inspire those present. These presentations and teachings have contributed greatly to my desire to help other people, as they are the teachings of Jesus Christ. I know that my relationship with my Savior has enabled me to be where I am today. I've realized that if I am not spending my time in the service of others, there is not much purpose to my life at all.
