"Rome wasn't built in a day" - Is it cliché? Perhaps. Is it true though? Most definitely. I am on a journey heading toward a destination that will forever keep moving further away from me. The more progress I make, the further the end goal become. Does this discourage or demotivate me? Nay. As a matter of fact, it keeps me going. This is the journey of self-improvement. It's a journey taken by many. Different people have different reasons for why they embark on this journey. Me, I want to improve myself so that I can give more to the world. You're probably wondering how my self-improvement would benefit the world around me. Well, I consider running a business as one of the most powerful forms of self-improvement as it will force you to continuously learn and improve, or risk failing. It is my vision to one day be able to use the profits of my business(es) to support local charities ranging from humanitarian and educational to environmental.Why? Because I was lucky enough to have grown up with a roof over my head, 3 square meals a day, and a good education. The same cannot be said for a big part of the world, especially in developing countries, which Indonesia happens to be classified as. I am Indonesian.
