Since 2009 I have been working in Espirales Consultoría de Infancia (javier@espiralesci.es, tel: (+34) 657 680 165), an international consultancy firm specializing in Child Protection, that I cofounded, based in Spain. As a consultant in Child Protection I deliver training in Affective Development, Child Protection (prevention, detection and intervention about diverse forms of violence, especially Child Sexual Abuse) and interpersonal communication in Spanish, English, French, Catalan and Moroccan Arabic.I also accompany organisational processes in order to create safe and protective environments for children and adolescents and for the teams that support them. I have worked for public, private and third-sector organisations in Spain, Europe, the Maghreb and Latin America.Through my private brand, "Conexión Más Auténtica" ("Towards a More Authentic Connection") I accompany processes in psychotherapy in Madrid and I offer training in Focusing (javier@conexionmasautentica.es).As a psychotherapist I accompany personal processes that have to do with overcoming difficult life situations (especially cases of suffering violence). I receive children and adolescents with methodologies adapted to different ages, and I also see adults. The person has always the lead role in their own process, and it is my task to provide them with tools in order to get empowered.As a trainer I am deeply committed with lifelong training (also for myself, as I keep learning). I hold a Degree in Psychology (specializing in Clinical Psychology) and I am a registered Psychologist. I have post-graduate studies in Psychology and Psychotherapy (Expert in Psychotherapy with children and adolescents). I am a Certified Focusing Trainer and Focusing-Oriented Psychotherapist by The International Focusing Institute.I also hold a Degree in General Linguistics (First National Award) a Master's Degree in Management of Educational Centres and I am a registered Social Educator.
