Program development, management and quality assuranceSustainable Livelihood and Child Poverty Capacity building

• Overall Program Management: Work closely with the senior program management team members, CD and field teams. • Program Development: Initiate and contribute to developing programs aligned with country strategy.• Representation: Attend relevant coordination meetings of country programs, assessment missions, intra-agency meetings, UN & INGO coordination meetings, etc. • HR/Staff capacity building: Supervise program managers and sector leads (8 direct reports• Compliance & Ethics: Liaise with local authorities, donor and partner agencies to ensure program compliance with internal and external policies• Security: Contribute to decision making related to security coordinating with CD and engagement of security manager.

-Overall responsible of the direction and coordination of the Save the Children (SC) country programs the working in 11provinces with annual portfolio of $15-28Million and 1700 staffs. Acting responsibility in absence of CD.-Development of Country Strategic Plan (CSP 2016-18), Program strategies and advocacy initiatives. -Manage a team of technical experts (five direct reporters, expat advisors and associate directors) on projects’ design for funding, MEAL, Partnership, communication & advocacy, FSL, Child Protection, Education, health, .-Ensure quality projects reports to the donors and country reports to the HQ.-Global and in-country advocacy work; coordinate advocacy and media activities.-Represent the country office to consortium meetings, different stakeholders-meetings appropriately including UN Clusters/IASC.-Ensures close and regular coordination with the Awards Management, PI department and other department in country, region, members and HQ. Ensure to observe budget and financial compliance, and quality assurance.-Lead proposal conceptualization, design and development of cost effective, innovative and high quality emergency and development Programs and identify strategic fundraising leads.-Maintain donors liaison and lead donors engagement plans with award management department

-Provide Technical Assistance and backstopping to FSL concept and programming -Lead and facilitate strategic vision and direction FSL programming and integrating with other cross cutting issues-Technical support and design in Program /project proposal concepts and fund raising.-Lead in quality technical assistance and high quality capacity building support to FSL programs and staffs.-Lead and support in developing FSL Quality Benchmark and MEAL plan in coordination with MEAL team-Coordinating/ leading process of TAs in Program development/ proposal writing, enterprise promotion, value chain capacity building.-Compile and writing quality Program report for donor and contributing in country report-Lead the process of FSL strategy development

Provide specialized and strategic support to primary and secondary Civil Society Organizations under AKF Bangladesh ECDSP program in the area of organizational development. Do follow-up and monitor two OD service providing organization to ensure quality and effective OD services for the partner CSOs.

Worked in Program for Professional Development to support skill and professional development of provincial, district level government officials and university graduates. Institutional strengthening of the provincial governors’, departments and district offices of Bamyan and Daykundi province of Afghanistan.
