Starting Global Energeia Solutions has taught me invaluable lessons. It is and has been a humbling experience. Perhaps one of the things that I love the most, is the ability to work alongside people every day. At the same time this is perhaps one of the biggest teachers.

As Co-Founder of Omni Utilities, I contributed to pioneering a utility management venture that simplifies managing utilities like electricity, gas, water, and metered connections through advanced metering infrastructures (AMIs). Our mission was to enable effortless oversight of utilities for individuals and businesses, transforming this management into a simple click of a button experience. At the heart of Omni Utilities is the drive to add value and leverage the power of technology and IoT to bring about efficient utility management solutions. Together with my co-founders, we embarked on this journey, embracing the challenges and opportunities of shaping a startup dedicated to innovation and customer empowerment in utility management.

During this time, I had the privilege of being apart of many conversations about wine, while facilitating wine tastings and hosting guests. This was a rich experience and exposed me to cultures and people from all across the world. It also taught me to appreciate the finer things in life.

Assisted with the management duties of the tasting room for an interim period whilst tasting room was in a transitioning phase.

As Co-Founder and former Managing Director at Deltagen, I had the opportunity to assist with business development, sales strategies, marketing initiatives, and supply chain management. During my tenure, Deltagen specialised in manufacturing, selling, and maintenance of diesel generators. I have since sold my shares and stepped down from my management role.

This was a fantastic learning school that greatly assisted in my growth as an individual. I was in charge of the sales process. I managed client portfolios and assisted in the kick-off and management of various projects.I worked on optimising the business system, to ensure operations run streamline without any bottlenecks. I launch a digitisation & modernisation project, which focused on creating more automated, digitalised processes. I attended various meetings and established relationships with suppliers and prospective clients. I assisted in various departments of the business, working on a management level to ensure project success and to be actively involved in business development.

I worked as a sales representative, managing relationships with clients and communicating across the board. I assisted in designing solutions. I assisted with administrative tasks for the business. I assisted in the finance department.
