I'm passionate about creating sustainable and inclusive urban environments through innovative planning and policy solutions. My recent Master's from UCL's Bartlett Development Planning Unit has provided me with a global perspective on urban challenges and opportunities.During my time at UCL, I had the opportunity to work on three impactful projects:- In London: Collaborated with the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) on a comprehensive study examining how hybrid work is reshaping London's socio-economic fabric.- In Mexico: Partnered with UADY and Co'ox Mayab to assess the sustainability of Merida's peri-urban areas, focusing on the Tren Maya project and developing policy recommendations for sustainable development.- In Lahore: Analyzed the impact of the Bus Rapid Transit system on women's economic participation for my dissertation, revealing significant connections between urban infrastructure investments and gender-inclusive growth.Inspired by the ethos of "being the change," I co-founded HamSukhan, a platform reconnecting young Pakistanis with their roots amidst the chaos of modern life. We're building a community passionate about lifelong learning and positive change.I'm actively seeking research-oriented roles in urban policy and sustainable development, eager to apply my knowledge to real-world urban challenges.
