• Strategic responsibilities, such as: Assisting with the development and implementation of the store’s specific business plan and budgets; Monitoring and providing feedback about competitor activity and market trends in the area; running the business, acting as a brand custodian and ensuring that the brand integrity is aligned to Head Office directives at all times, and across key functions.• Financial Management, including interpreting monthly management accounts, benchmarking, and taking corrective action where necessary. • Compliance and Legalities in protecting the brand integrity by aligning to the Standards of Operating Procedures (SOPs), and negotiating contracts, SLAs, etc. • Marketing and Sales: Selecting and formulating locality marketing strategies in order to increase brand awareness and growing the business’s turnover; Implementing national marketing campaigns.• Human Resources: Identifying training needs and implementing training interventions where necessary (in accordance with Head Office); and managing, mentoring, and uplifting staff. • Customer Service delivery and Client Relationship Management.• Operations around running the facility.

• Responsible for the monitoring and operating of the bank’s Unix/midrange computer systems to ensure that systems and output standards are maintained, and service level agreements are met. • Application of a diagnostic, specialist approach to work, such as adhering to and working within the SLA’s of the business, including the adherence of daily processing schedules; controlling off-site tape storage; access of the Unix Shell, and executing Unix commands; following up on missing feeds from the United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Sao Paulo, Moscow, etc. • Planning and organizing skills required to coordinate changes on weekends. • Excellent eye for detail facilitated through the correcting and checking of reruns of failed applications under the direction of support personnel.
