Nevertheless, most of the associates are SMEs, active in delivering Telecommunications and Information Systems products and services.The objectives of the Association encompass the promotion of innovation, the collaborative effort in research and development, training, marketing and internationalization and the attraction of investment to the region.

IN2B started as a spin-off from Micro I/O in 2007 and finished integrated into GFI Portugal in June 2008.IN2B was created to develop the wellness software area of Micro I/O, with an increased expertise on Business Intelligence.It also created some new products, like Screen2B (corporate TV), loyalty cards systems and ticketing systems.
