As a Compliance Manager of the of the leading INGO in Pakistan, I am responsible to ensure design and implementation of strong internal controls and compliance with organizations overall policies and procedures. I ensure that donor grant reporting and compliance regulations are clearly understood and met by partner networks, the transition NGO and program management staff. In addition, I am also providing support to finance department to comply with IFRS/US GAAPs and organization’s financial policies and procedures. I also perform annual internal control assessment of organization (including its four sub offices) and also lead in finalization of annual audits and resolving external auditor’s observations and recommendations. I also conduct trainings on compliance; provide onsite mentoring and technical assistance for partners and sub offices; conduct financial reviews and ensure follow-up of recommendations; identify training needs; and develop site-specific curriculum as needed. I am also responsible for implementing strategies to prevent or reduce compliance-related liabilities.

Joined Qatar office as secondee and finalised 11 clients in 3 months including IQ, Trelco Group and Jarir Bookstore .
