About Fatihah Abdur-Rahman, Ed.S. (She/ Her)

Fatihah has over 20 years of experience as an educator in urban and suburban schools, both public and charter. She began her teaching career in Madison, AL, and later transferred to Camden, New Jersey. Parkside Elementary and Camden City School District recognized her impact on student achievement in her first full year of teaching with its Teacher of the Year Award for Outstanding Teaching, the school's highest honor given to their teachers. After her time in Camden City school as a math and science teacher, Fatihah was a founding leader of Mastery Charter School- Molina. At Molina, she served as assistant principal of instruction for K- 8th grade. She later returned to Camden City Schools to lead as a principal at Forest Hill Elementary. Fatihah serves as Cherry Hill Public School District Supervisor of Curriculum and Instruction. Fatihah holds dual master's in education and public administration and Educational Specialist degrees in Curriculum and Instruction. She has been recognized both locally and nationally for her school achievements.
