Commencing October 2005, I started up and ran a successful paint manufacturing business; Polo Auto Paint. The success of my businesses is wholly attributed to the skills and knowledge acquired in my early career working in the Paint and Chemical Manufacturing Industries. I achieved significant financial success through hard work, commitment, and unwavering focus on manufacturing quality products that meet market demand with customer service excellence. I am opened to discussing this period of significant personal grown and financial success in more detail. Being an entrepreneur at heart, I also co-owned a successful mobile coffee shop service in South Africa and trained as a qualified life coach in 2018. I then co-founded Ctrl-Alt-Renew Life Coaching, an international online life coaching and counselling service with globally located clients. The start-up efforts for this service originated from my passion to enable others to achieve their life goals and aspirations and make a positive difference to society in general. This role is done on a part-time (outside office hours) basis.

Reporting to the Managing Director my role included:  Overseeing compliance to relevant codes, regulations, and safety laws. Produced deliverables on time, under budget and to exceptionally high standard. Directed production activities to hit quotas and deadlines, flagging potential delays and causes for concern for swift resolution. Researched and assessed viability of proposed ideas and finished scripts to make necessary modifications. Supervised projects from production through to post-production. Resolved day-to-day issues immediately to promote smooth production workflow.

Reporting to the Production Manager, my main achievements include:  Conducted workplace safety inspections whilst setting personal example for health and safety. Investigated quality, safety, and productivity issues, implementing corrective action to prevent recurrence. Supervised all production phases, from design and development to timely manufacture and dispatch. Enforced housekeeping guidelines to protect production workflow. Set and revised production schedules, adapting to changes in purchasing trends and company priorities. Coordinated repairs with maintenance department to keep machinery operational.
