From the very beginning, engineering has fascinated me, and my mathematics teacher played a crucial role in igniting my passion for this field.After completing my high school education, I chose a dual study program in Industrial Engineering at FH Bielefeld in collaboration with Teckentrup GmbH in Verl. During this three-and-a-half-year program, I gained valuable insights into production and logistics, further reinforcing my interest in these areas.During my bachelor's thesis, I realized that solving complex optimization and re-planning projects in the factory requires a deep understanding of processes and related data. This led me to pursue a master's degree in Business Informatics with a focus on Data Science at the Steinbeis School of Management and Technology. Throughout the dual master's program, I had the opportunity to apply my practical knowledge as a consultant at Metroplan, contributing to various factory planning projects.Following the successful completion of my master's studies, I relocated from Hamburg to Augsburg to conduct research at Fraunhofer IGCV in the field of sustainable factory planning and operations. Here, we engage in intensive exploration of digital planning and ecologically sustainable design of factory systems. Currently, I am pursuing a Ph.D. at TU Munich, focusing on short-cycle factory planning and how comprehensive digital planning models can support this process.As an engineer and researcher, my objective is to develop innovative solutions to address the challenges of modern factory planning, assisting companies in optimizing production efficiently and sustainably.I am eager to connect with fellow professionals and explore intriguing projects.
