Oversee the implementation of discipline as well as restorative practices for Chicago Public School -- 6- 8th Grade.

Maintain a caseload of 28-32 students, and meet with students twice per week. Interview each student’s parent/guardian at the school to explain the program, gain understandingof additional needs the student might have, and receive permission to engage the student in theprogram. Conduct intake assessments, develop and implement a weekly case plan, monitor progress towardsgoals, and make appropriate referrals. Develop and implement skill-building groups for students that build esteem, confidence, andleadership skills. Connect families of students with needed and available community resources. Continue to connectwith student’s families and engage them in workshops and other opportunities. Engage in truancy reduction activities, including home visits when needed. Maintain accurate records and case management files for each participant. Develop and maintain positive relationships with school staff and administration. Provide all required documentation and reports in a timely manner. Participate in regular staff meetings, staff trainings, supervisory sessions and other duties asassigned by supervisor. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in an appropriate andrespectful manner with students, school and agency staff, and parents.
