As a visa assistant at the U.S. Diplomatic Mission in Brazil, I support the consular section in processing visa applications and facilitating interviews for visitors and immigrants. I have been working in this dynamic and challenging environment for over six years, where I can apply my skills and learn new ones.I have a BBA degree in International Business from Raritan Valley Community College, which sparked my interest in diplomacy and international relations. I have developed strong teamwork, organization, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to manage up, down, and across, and deal with difficult people and situations at work. I collaborate with a diverse and multicultural team of colleagues and supervisors, both Brazilian and American, and I contribute to the mission of promoting mutual understanding and cooperation between the U.S. and Brazil. I also lead and train new visa assistants, and I organize and participate in team building activities and events. I am passionate about technology and data analysis, and I aspire to advance my career in this direction.
