At planet.training we develop digital tools that support & optimize the daily work of sport coaches worldwide. We pride ourselves in working with some of the leading clubs and associations in sports. My role as a product lead focuses on designing and developing app features that suit the needs of our partners and customers. I help to create solutions for problems that sport clubs and associations face in their daily work. This includes activities such as their session planning, their analysis of team performance and development, as well as their quality management or the preparation of their upcoming matches.

My internship as an embedded sport scientist focused on the load management & performance analysis of the 1st team (Eredivisie & UEFA Conference League) and several academy teams.I supported the club’s performance department in the recording, monitoring and analysis of internal and external load data. This included the use of GPS and LPM software and hardware, as well as the processing and presentation of performance data via Microsoft Excel among other programs. Additionally, I also conducted performance and development testing with academy players. These tests contained physical (e.g., endurance, agility, jump and sprint tests) and anthropometric (e.g., height, weight, body composition measurements) components. Lastly, I was also involved in the set-up and maintenance of the club‘s performance database, which included a collaboration with several data scientists.

This scientific project focused on developing the federation's talent assessment guidelines for competitive surfing. Based on one of my previous scientific publications, I conducted an analysis of state of the art performance assessments in elite competitive surfing. The result of this project is a 70–Page manual that contains descriptions and benchmarks of all relevant talent & performance assessments for surfing’s elite athletes. This project was conducted in cooperation with the German surf federation (DWV) and the University of Groningen, as part of my M.Sc. Sport Sciences degree.

For OVHcloud I design and update digital documents, such as brochures, forms and presentations for the company‘s internal and external use. My designs follow the corporate design guidelines of OVHcloud.
